The Fog is THICK!

I live in the Central Valley of California, and we get a bout of tule fog pretty frequently during our winters. In Michael's time it would I think be worse because of the inland sea right next door.

A little topography lesson, our tule fog is considered some of the worst in the nation simply because it's stemming from an inversion layer created by the mountains surrounding most of the central valley. It ends up holding heat in, in the summer and the cold in, in the winter, so when the humidity cools down and condenses it creates a thick cloud cover at ground level.

Having lived here since 1996, I can tell you it is no joke...
