I'm not sure if this is what I originally drew as this has gone through several iterations to get to this point. The first was VERY detailed... all of his peers had faces... but I thought it might be a creepier vibe if the people Michael is facing are faceless and rather formless.

I got inspiration for how the shadows turned out from a Sketchnoting training I went to where we learned how to draw quickly as a form of notetaking, and one of them was drawing "star people" so I started with star people and gave them just ever so slight suggestions of details.

I rather like the creep factor it adds to the cover. Minimized the color scheme to add to that... I hope it worked!
