When I first wrote Michael, I wasn't yet teaching. Since I became a full time teacher, I have some pretty different perspective on how a school runs and how administration deals with kids like Michael.

I've learned quite a lot... including just how HEINOUS Michael's choice was and the reprecussions that could befall not only him, but his family as well...
