Ocean Wonders

The west coast off of Central California has some pretty cold waters (Average temperature in the water around Morro Bay, California in the summer is less than 60 degrees farenheit.)

Even though this isn't the Pacific, it's the revitalized Sea of San Joaquin (the current central valley of California), the waters wouldn't be THAT warm. And even warm water snorkelling is often less than a human's body temperature. So even an hour in the water can cause hypothermia to occur. (Usually I don't feel it until exertion wears me out and the water pushes my core temp down).

It's completely understandable that Corbin and Mandy would be a bit chilled after tooling around the ocean like this.

BTW I had SO MUCH FUN drawing and coloring that octopus and I'm super proud of how it came out!
